For the second consecutive year, Brave River Solutions has been ranked as one of Rhode Island’s top Web Developers by the Providence Business News.

WARWICK – March 12, 2008 – For the second consecutive year, Brave River Solutions has been ranked as one of Rhode Island’s top Web Developers by the Providence Business News.
Brave River was ranked third among 25 of Rhode Island’s top performing companies in this year’s Providence Business News Book of Lists.
Their recent recognition comes as no surprise to Brave River’s clients. Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL) recently went live with an eCommerce website designed and developed by Brave River. “I like everything about it” said Jeannette Gouin, part of the Business Development team at ESL.
“They were extremely professional,” Gouin said of working with Brave River during the development process. “We received quick feedback on issues, and we always felt like we had their undivided attention. Working with Brave River has been a great learning experience for us.”
As part of the website, Brave River provided ESL with a content & catalog management system that allows for easy maintenance of their website’s content and products. One of the unique features on ESL’s new website is an advanced search and filter feature that will help customers find exactly what they are looking for. “ESL’s products are very technical and have a lot of variations. We knew that the site needed to provide the customer with a flexible and easy way to drill into the catalog, compare products, and place an order” said Jim McAssey, Vice President at Brave River.
“Within days, we were booking orders,” said ESL owner Raymond Sepe, Sr. of the new site.
Since 1976, when Sepe founded Electro Standards Laboratories, the family-owned and operated company has continued to grow. “We develop products with our own funding,” said Sepe, adding that his investment decisions are based on a long-term plan. “We are investing for future growth. You have to take that risk if you can afford to do that.” The company’s unique business methodology has been a great contributor to their ongoing success servicing customers in the military, government, security, and medical industries.
“When the US economy is down, somewhere else it is up. It’s like having a stock portfolio,” said Sepe. “The way to increase international sales is through the web, and that’s where Brave River has helped us.” The company already has a solid international client base, with products going to Singapore, Peru, Spain, Nova Scotia, Sweden, and troops in Afghanistan. Still, according to Gouin, ESL’s new website will make it easier for overseas companies to find us, ask questions, and buy from us. “They have all our information at their fingertips.”
